CopyPasteBox does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.
CopyPasteBox is a clipboard history manager for macOS. It monitors your system clipboard and saves a local history of items you copy, so you can access them later.
All clipboard data is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:
This data never leaves your device. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no analytics.
CopyPasteBox does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
CopyPasteBox reads your system clipboard to provide its core functionality. It uses the macOS
NSPasteboard API to detect new clipboard content. You can control this behavior:
Clipboard history is kept locally until you delete it or it exceeds your configured limit (default: 80 items). Oldest non-favorite items are automatically pruned. You can clear all history at any time.
CopyPasteBox uses no third-party services, frameworks, or dependencies beyond Apple's own system frameworks (AppKit, SwiftUI, SwiftData).
CopyPasteBox does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
